Restrictions
- Children under 15 years of age may not travel on a mission trip with Moyo Missions to Uganda. Children ages 15-18 must be accompanied by a parent, must room with the parent, and must have been on a mission trip at least once before..
- All team members are required to be vaccinated for Yellow Fever in order to enter Uganda.
- Each team member must be able to walk 3 or more miles per day; be able to tolerate constant heat without air conditioning; travel long distances in planes, cars, and buses; perform ministry for up to 12 hours a day; carry and manage their personal luggage (50lb suitcase, carry-on, and personal item); and must be able to receive country-required vaccinations and organization-required medications.
Preparation
- Verify passport information. All team members must have a passport valid for at least 6 months past the end date of the trip.
- All team members must be vaccinated for Yellow Fever and Typhoid, have a prescription for antimalarial medication, and for Traveler's Diarrhea. Team members must receive vaccines at least 2 weeks prior to the trip. (This is NOT covered in your trip cost and is the responsibility of each team member. Estimated total cost of vaccines and medications is $500+)
